 | Best AHL Hurler Chosen for 2016 Monday, October 31st, 2016 The Huntsville clubhouse staff referred to him as "the kid" this season. Next year Noriaki Kichida will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2016 August Herrman League Cy Young Award. Kichida made 24 starts this year, winning 16 and losing 5. He threw 160.1 innings, fanned 175, allowed 108 hits and 42 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .188 average as he logged an impressive 2.47 ERA. |   |
