 | Winston Tames Saints 9-6, 16 Ks Sunday, October 2nd, 2016 Kenny Winston of the Barrow Frosties really put on a pitching clinic today at The Blizzard Bowl as he struck out 16 St. Paul Saints in a 9-6 victory. Winston was simply magnificent as he held the Saints to 1 hit and had 2 walks in the game. "My fastball was okay," Winston said, "but my breaking stuff really hurt them. I also have to thank my catcher for calling a great game." When asked about Winston's performance, the Frosties manager shook his head and said, "Yeah, he was pretty good out there today. He was dominating today." In 29 starts this year Winston has crafted a 14-8 record and a 2.86 ERA. |   |
