 | Kato Wins AHL Batter of the Month Saturday, October 1st, 2016 Yasushi Kato is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Whitewater center fielder joined that select company when the August Herrman League announced the results of September's voting. Kato totaled 36 hits, 11 walks, 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 18 runs scored last month to put together a .343 batting average and .415 on-base percentage. Posting a .234 batting average to date, Kato has 14 home runs and 64 RBIs. |   |
