 | Childers Chosen #1 Player Monday, August 15th, 2016 Sean Childers burst onto the Buck O'Neil League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for New Orleans garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .440 (11-25) with 2 home runs and 7 RBIs last week. To date Childers has chalked up a .250 average with 3 home runs, driven in 30 runs and scored 27 times. |   |
