 | BOL Selects Green July's Top Starter Monday, August 1st, 2016 In July, Billy Green tore through the Buck O'Neil League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young San Angelo starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 2.86 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 34.2 innings he collected 42 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .175 average. Green has posted a 13-2 record for the year with a 2.54 ERA. Teams are hitting .180 against him and he has rung up 156 strikeouts in 131 innings. |   |
