 | Star of the Week Named in BOL Monday, July 11th, 2016 The votes have been cast and counted and the winner of the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week has been chosen. It was presented earlier today to Jon Parkinson for his red-hot week of hitting. The Nichols right fielder took home the trophy by splurging with 11 hits in 26 at-bats for a .423 batting average, driving in 4 runs and scoring 6 times. So far this year Parkinson is hitting .271 with 7 home runs. |   |
