Start after start in the month, Hideki Ohayashi took the hill, took charge and usually got the win. He dominated with a 6-0 mark and 1.03 ERA in 6 starts. The gifted Jedi Knights star pitched 43.2 innings, fanned 29 and held opposing teams to a .152 average. For his outstanding mound performance Ohayashi was named the BOL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers.
