 | Winfield's Dave Wallace Injured Sunday, June 26th, 2016 It took the Winfield team doctor a while to realize it, but catcher Dave Wallace won't simply play through a ruptured medial collateral ligament after he got hurt running the bases in today's Bums-Warriors game. At first, it looked like Wallace might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 8 months. Thus far in 2016 Wallace is hitting .227 with no home runs, 6 RBIs, 8 runs scored and has compiled a .261 OBP. |   |
