 | Barrow's Parrish Snaps up May Batting Award Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 Jarrod Parrish put together a good May to earn the Buck O'Neil League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Barrow officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Frosties right fielder posted a .280 batting average with 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored. This season Parrish is hitting .316 with 48 hits, 11 home runs, 43 RBIs, scored 30 runs and played in 51 games. |   |
