 | AHL Star of the Week Chosen Monday, May 2nd, 2016 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Ánibal Young of the Whitewater Eagles reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Young rocked opposing pitching for a .441 average (15-34), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. Young is presently hitting at a .286 pace with no home runs, 6 RBIs and has scored 13 times. |   |
