 | José Carlos Mata is April's #1 Hitter in AHL Sunday, May 1st, 2016 When José Carlos Mata stepped up to the plate in April, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the August Herrman League Batter of the Month award. The young Huntsville designated hitter posted a .312 batting average with 6 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 20 runs. Mata also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .407 on-base percentage. |   |
