 | Nichols Starter Wins September's Pitcher Award Thursday, October 1st, 2015 In September, Najjar bin Hanbal tore through the Buck O'Neil League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Nichols starter posted a 2-0 mark and an ERA of 0.61 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 29.1 innings he collected 39 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .181 average.
