 | McDonald Week's #1 Player Monday, August 10th, 2015 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Steve McDonald of the Huntsville Sabercats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. McDonald rocked opposing pitching for a .480 average (12-25), 1 home run and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. McDonald on the season is batting .265 with 5 home runs. His totals include 36 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has played in 85 games. |   |
