 | Streak Finally Over, Díaz Held Hitless Thursday, August 6th, 2015 The Las Vegas Lost defeated the Baltimore Blue Claws 6-1 today at Old Bay Park, but Gabriel Díaz's 20-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Díaz went hitless in 4 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the second baseman said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the 'W' today. That's all that really counts." To date, Díaz has collected 39 hits for a .269 average. He has posted 1 home run, scored 30 runs and driven in 20 runs. |   |
