 | Week's Premier Performer Honored by AHL Monday, July 20th, 2015 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Jimmy Barton of the Huntsville Sabercats reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Barton rocked opposing pitching for a .421 average (8-19), 1 home run and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this year Barton has hit .293 with 11 home runs and 63 RBIs. |   |
