 | Inoue and Powell Suspended 5 Games For Brawl Thursday, June 11th, 2015 It was quite a row yesterday at Silvery Lane Field. The Pioneers Kyoichi Inoue and the Cyclones David Powell backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Inoue and Powell were ejected.
As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 5-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions.
Presently Inoue is batting .303 with 27 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 13 runs and scored 16 times.
In 9 starts this season Powell has gathered 3 wins while suffering 2 losses. He has pitched 53.2 innings, allowed 40 hits, struck out 35 and has a 2.68 ERA. | |
