 | Thierry Peres Captures AHL Award Monday, September 1st, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Thierry Peres of the Dearborn Pioneers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Peres rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (7-14), 1 home run and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. So far in 2014 Peres is batting .205 with 13 home runs, 55 RBIs and 50 runs scored. He has 79 hits in 386 at-bats and a .277 OBP. |   |
