 | BOL's Best Player, Figueroa of Nichols Monday, July 14th, 2014 José Figueroa burst onto the Buck O'Neil League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie shortstop for Nichols garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 19-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .464 (13-28) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week. So far this season Figueroa has 6 home runs and a .211 batting average. |   |
