Bad News for Stingrays, Hull Injured
Tuesday, July 1st, 2014
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Michael Hull of the Stingrays knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Dearborn Pioneers while throwing a pitch. Because of a stretched elbow ligament, the Sanford reliever is expected to miss 11-12 months. Hull was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."

Hull has made 33 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 33.1 innings he has a 1-2 record, 3.78 ERA with 31 strikeouts and 19 walks.
