 | Whitewater's Philippe Injured, Out of Lineup Saturday, May 31st, 2014 After injuring himself, Eagles closer Denis Philippe headed straight to the hospital. He was removed from the game as a precaution after throwing a pitch and the team's worst fears were confirmed when it turned out to be a little more serious. Philippe will miss at least 11 months with a torn labrum. On the year Philippe has recorded 8 saves. In 17 relief appearances, he has 5 strikeouts in 14.1 innings with a 3.14 ERA.
