 | Russell at His Best, Whips River Chiefs Tuesday, August 13th, 2013 In an almost effortless performance, Bill Russell of the Princes shot down the River Chiefs 8-0 on a 4-hit shutout. His skipper said, "Bill was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate." Russell recorded 7 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, the Chippewa manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him."
