 | Miller Sidelined for 11-12 Months Thursday, June 20th, 2013 It took the Winfield team doctor a while to realize it, but starting pitcher David Miller won't simply play through a stretched elbow ligament after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's Blue Claws-Warriors game. At first, it looked like Miller might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 11-12 months. In pitching stats this season Miller has rung up 4 wins and no losses in 5 games. He has an ERA of 2.83 and has fanned 29 batters in 28.2 innings. |   |
