 | Eric Phillips Forced To Retire, Suffers Another Setback

It looks like the end of Eric Phillips's career. He got the sad news today from his doctors that this last setback was more damaging than first reported. The 20-year-old Palm Beach Bums reliever was making some progress in his recovery from a torn ulnar collateral ligament, but then he reinjured it during a rehab workout. Phillips was told by his specialist that there was nothing more that could be done to save his career. |   |
