A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Phoenix officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Lights second baseman posted a .363 batting average with 2 home runs, 20 RBIs and 29 runs scored. This season Ljungberg is batting .343 with 121 hits and 8 home runs.
