 | Spartans Pete Carr Sidelined Sunday, August 5th, 2012 The Sandy Springs Spartans announced this afternoon that reliever Pete Carr would be out of action for 12 months. He sustained a torn flexor tendon in his elbow playing the Wolverines. It happened throwing a pitch. Carr's record up to now is 1-and-1 with 1 save and a 2.72 ERA. He has given up 35 hits in 36.1 innings with 33 strikeouts. |   |
