 | Ljungberg Wins FFL Player of the Week Honors Monday, June 4th, 2012 At the age of 26, Markus Ljungberg might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Phoenix second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Ljungberg collected the Ford Frick League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 13 hits in 26 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. Ljungberg is currently hitting at a .419 pace with 3 home runs, 19 RBIs and has scored 17 times. |   |
