 | Week's Premier Player: Long Island's Santos Monday, September 19th, 2016 At the age of 28, Juan Santos might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Long Island catcher put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .450 batting average. For his efforts Santos collected the Ford Frick League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 9 hits in 20 at-bats, 2 home runs and 3 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season Santos has hit .251 with 13 home runs, 51 RBIs and and scored 50 times. |   |
