 | ACL Presents Player of the Week Trophy Monday, September 19th, 2016 Billy Bishop burst onto the Alexander Cartwright League stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie catcher for Riverside garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 24-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .526 (10-19) with 2 home runs and 6 RBIs last week. So far this season Bishop is batting .337 with 7 home runs, 23 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 101 at-bats, 11 walks and a .402 OBP. Bishop has played in 30 games. |   |
