 | Hawkins Gets 5 Hits Saturday, August 20th, 2016 San Antonio right fielder Millard Hawkins could do no wrong in today's 11-4 win over the Wolves as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Wolves said to the press corps after the game. Hawkins agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Millard Hawkins hit a two-run single in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year Hawkins has hit .237 with 3 home runs and 17 RBIs. |   |
