 | Hackers First Baseman Burton Hurt Tuesday, August 9th, 2016 The Hackers received bad news this morning. John Burton will miss 6 months due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He sustained the injury in the Silicon Valley-Prussian game while running the bases. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Burton sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This season Burton is hitting .243 with 74 hits, 11 home runs, 46 RBIs, scored 48 runs and played in 97 games. |   |
