 | Boorman Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 1st, 2016 Carson City Mustang shortstop Philip Boorman had a great time at the plate last week, running up some sensational numbers that no one else could match. Few people were surprised today when the Ford Frick League named him Player of the Week. Boorman banged out 14 hits in 29 at-bats on the way to a .483 batting average. He also racked up 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. In his 2016 season totals, Boorman has 4 home runs, .343 BA, .427 OBP, 21 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |   |
