 | Anderson Hitless, Stopped by Beehive Monday, July 4th, 2016 The Sandy Springs Spartans defeated the Madison Beehive 10-2 today at The Hive, but Ron Anderson's 22-game hitting string was snapped and went to the wayside. Anderson went hitless in 3 at-bats. "I enjoyed the streak," the center fielder said in a BNN interview after the game. "It's great in one way, but the day-to-day pressure to keep it going can be tough to handle, too. The main thing is we got the 'W' today. That's all that really counts." Currently Anderson is batting .393 with 1 home run and 7 RBIs. |   |
