 | Bodin Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Tuesday, June 28th, 2016 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Spokane's Mathieu Bodin told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Bodin today as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats against Silicon Valley. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Bulldogs knocked off the Hackers 14-2 at The Kennel. Mathieu Bodin singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jonathan Foster in the 8th. This year Bodin is batting .285 with 8 home runs and 31 RBIs. |   |
