 | Rats-Ducks Fight Nets 7-Game Suspensions Thursday, June 2nd, 2016 During a recent Rock River-Long Island game at The Rat Hole, Ed Kennedy of the Rats and Weston Papenfuss of the Ducks got into an altercation on the field and had to be separated from each other as the benches emptied. Both players knew they would have to face the music and today the league commissioner's office announced their punishments. They have been given 7-game suspensions because of their actions.
So far on the season Kennedy is hitting .243 with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 42 hits and played in 52 games.
This season Papenfuss has accumulated 1 save, registered a 6.41 ERA and struck out 23 in 26.2 innings. He also has a 1-1 record in 18 relief appearances. |   |
