 | Carson City's Manning Collects May Batting Honor Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 When Doug Manning stepped up to the plate in May, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Ford Frick League Batter of the Month award. The young Carson City center fielder posted a .304 batting average with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 25 runs. Manning also worked pitchers for 12 walks to post a .364 on-base percentage. This year Manning has 19 home runs and a .283 batting average. |   |
