 | Red-Hot Rampage Reaps ACL Reward Monday, May 23rd, 2016 25-year-old Shawn Dennis made a few Grand Haven headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 24 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Dennis collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 7 runs. Presently Dennis is batting .313 with 47 hits and 10 home runs. He has knocked in 44 runs and scored 39 times. |   |
