 | Chamberlain Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, May 16th, 2016 So far in his young career, Troy Chamberlain has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Anniston Cougars first baseman hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This year Chamberlain is hitting at a .297 pace with 5 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 37 games and scored 17 times. |   |
