 | Sloan Goes 5-5 Against Rock River Sunday, June 21st, 2015 Paul Sloan really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Confucius Field, the New York shortstop blistered the Rock River Rats for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 10-1 victory.
"Sloan was too tough to get out today," the Rats skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
Paul Sloan singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and walked in the 8th.
