O'Neil and Stewart Suspended, Out 8 Games
Sunday, May 10th, 2015
Bad blood could be brewing between the Ducks and the Bulldogs. In yesterday's contest at Long Island Stadium, Long Island's Robert O'Neil and Spokane's Brian Stewart caused the benches to empty when they went toe-to-toe against one another. Only O'Neil and Stewart were ejected by the umpires.

Upon hearing that the two players had been suspended 8 games each by the league office, harsh comments came from both clubhouses.

League officials have warned both organizations about the consequences of premeditated retaliation.

This year O'Neil is hitting .274 with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs in 32 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .423 with 27 walks and 20 runs scored.

So far this year Stewart has made 7 starts, tossed 36.1 innings, struck out 26 batters and walked 20. His record is 3-2 with a 6.19 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .283 batting average.
