 | Bill Baker Hurt, Out 11 Months Friday, May 8th, 2015 Earlier today, Jacksonville starting pitcher Bill Baker had to leave the game against Newark because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a stretched elbow ligament and will miss 11 months of play. Baker was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Currently Baker has a record of 3-1 with 44 strikeouts and 22 walks in 45 innings and a 2.60 ERA. |   |
