 | Ducks MacGregor Named FFL's #1 Player Monday, July 14th, 2014 So far in his young career, Barney MacGregor has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 21-year-old Long Island Ducks third baseman hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored. MacGregor is hitting .274 this year with 9 home runs, 33 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 52 hits in 190 at-bats, 22 walks and a .362 on-base percentage. MacGregor has played in 61 games. |   |
