 | Baldwin of Ottawa Crowned Best Player Monday, June 16th, 2014 So far in his young career, Alvin Baldwin has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts.
The 22-year-old Ottawa Outlaws second baseman hit at a torrid .478 clip as he collected 11 hits in 23 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
Thus far this season Baldwin has hit .277 with 2 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 30 times. |   |
