 | Riley on Fire, Named Player of the Week Monday, May 5th, 2014 It was some kind of week for Ed Riley of the Murfreesboro Deacons. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .519 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Ford Frick League. Last week Riley went 14-27, chalked up 3 home runs and 9 RBIs and scored 12 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. In 2014 Riley has hit at a .367 clip with 36 hits, 5 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 23 times. |   |
