 | Forryan Rips New York for 5 Hits Monday, April 28th, 2014 Ken Forryan really sizzled at the plate today. The Long Island center fielder blistered the New York Ninjas for 5 hits in 5 at-bats in his club's 9-4 defeat. "Forryan was too tough to get out today," the Ninjas skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too. But hey, I don't mind if every game somebody gets 5 hits off us, as long as we win. That's the bottom line. We ain't playin' for stats." Ken Forryan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Thus far this year Forryan has hit .338 with 3 home runs and 11 RBIs. |   |
