 | Ridin' High: Maddox Hits for Cycle Saturday, April 26th, 2014 Sometimes a big day is not enough to bring home a victory and New York right fielder Tom Maddox knows that firsthand. He hit for the cycle in today's 7-6 loss to Phoenix, scorching their pitching staff for 4 hits in 5 at-bats. His magnificent day included 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored for the Ninjas. Tom Maddox singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Hamilton Collins in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Thus far this season Maddox is hitting .292 with 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 72 at-bats and has played in 17 games. |   |
