 | Sakutaro Eida Hurt, Out 4 Months Sunday, August 25th, 2013 The New York Ninjas learned that Sakutaro Eida is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself throwing a pitch in today's game against the Murfreesboro Deacons. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be shoulder inflammation. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the New York manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Sakutaro is back in action." This year Eida has compiled a 8-7 record with a 3.51 ERA in 18 starts. |   |
