 | Spokane Blanked by Rivera Sunday, July 7th, 2013 San Antonio hurler José Rivera was at his best as he whitewashed the Spokane Bulldogs 9-0 today. "He just kept the ball down, did a good job, made his pitches," said the Spokane manager. "We didn't do a good job making adjustments, so we helped him out a little bit." Rivera fired a 2-hitter and totaled 6 strikeouts and 1 walk in the shutout performance. This season Rivera has fanned 76 in 117.1 innings and collected a 8-7 record with a 2.45 ERA. |   |
