This promising rookie second baseman for Astoria garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 23-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .452 (14-31) with 4 home runs and 17 RBIs last week. For the year Román is batting .289 with 21 home runs. |   |
