 | KSL Announces Best Batter Award Friday, June 1st, 2012 Matt Welch is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Fort Worth right fielder joined that select company when the Kade Stenson League announced the results of May's voting. Welch totaled 38 hits, 19 walks, 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 26 runs scored last month to put together a .396 batting average and .491 on-base percentage. Currently Welch has 15 home runs and a .330 batting average. |   |
