Nobuhisa Yamashita put together a very solid month to take home the Blake Camden League's top pitching honor in September. The 22-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 14 relief appearances he raked in 9 saves and 21 strikeouts in 15.2 innings as he put together his 3-1 record and 5.17 ERA. On the year Yamashita has recorded 32 saves. In 50 relief appearances, he has 76 strikeouts in 52.2 innings with a 3.59 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 5-3. |   |
